Built by a Compliance Practitioner. Designed for the Regulated World.
Atrevo is not a software company that discovered compliance. It was founded by someone who spent 28 years inside global banking, doing the work regulators audit.
Our Founder & CEO began his career in banking in 1996, at a time when KYC was performed by hand and AML compliance was a manual, judgment-driven discipline. Over the following 28 years, he built his career within global institutions of the calibre of Deutsche Bank, working across Credit Analysis, corporate risk assessment, and the structuring of complex trade instruments including Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees, and Supply Chain Finance facilities.
He went on to lead KYC and AML programmes at the operational level, where compliance is not a policy document but a daily standard of precision under regulatory scrutiny. Later in his career, he moved into transition management and enterprise technology delivery, implementing Business Intelligence and Data Science initiatives across multiple countries – bridging the gap between financial operations and the platforms built to serve them.
“Atrevo was not built by engineers who studied banking. It was built by a banker who mastered technology.”
Why We Built This
Speed has become the defining factor in KYC and AML. Customer risk evolves far faster than traditional review cycles can accommodate, while illicit finance continues to fragment into smaller, harder-to-detect flows. Atrevo exists to close that gap – bringing institutional-grade compliance discipline to organizations that cannot afford institutional-grade overhead.
Our Principles
- Practitioner-led, not theory-led – every feature is shaped by real regulatory experience, not assumptions about it.
- Precision over noise – compliance technology should reduce false positives, not multiply them.
- Built for scale, priced for reality – enterprise-grade rigor, accessible to growing institutions.
